Day 5: 200m Butterfly Finals
Swam partially blind ,
and attained a gold nonetheless, setting a new world record
200m IM Women Finals
Stephanie Rice!! Broke World Record
Day 5: 4x200 Relay Freestyle Finals
US Team Clocked a stunning world record of 658.56 secs to smash previous record of 703.24! When anchor swimmer of US team touched home, the rest were still like 1-2 m away!! IMPRESSIVE.
Small wonder one of his friends sent him a cheeky text message after seeing Phelps step onto the podium for the tenth time: "Dude, how many times a day do I have to see your ugly face?"
Day 6: 4x200 Freestyle Relay
The Australians touched the wall in a time of 7min 44.31sec, slicing 5.78 off the previous best time.
Missed watching all these finals live because of common tests :(
After finishing the last paper today, all the Olympic enthusiasts in G1 wanted so badly to watch 200m IM Men's finals live!! So we managed to set up the tablet and when the Olympics (Swimming) played on the web, we started screaming&cheering HAHA.
Then we requested to watch the Finals for IM during lessons : o Watching it live is really, far better than watching replays.

The whole watching Olympics together with Olympic Enthusiasts was so cool!! Because the atmosphere was great, we all almost had the same reactions, we cheered in unison and we are all fans of Phelps! :) HURRAY!
Day 7 - Women All Around Gymnastics Finals
Nastia Liukin, a Russian-born American gymnast of exquisite grace and beauty, on Friday won the women's individual all-around competition, a triumph that served as an emphatic reminder that the sport is formally called "artistic gymnastics"
